Communications Assistant
Ivana is the Communications Assistant at USF, where she manages web content, social media, and digital communications for our grants.
She holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina, an MA in Territory, Space, and Society from École des Haute Études en Science Sociales in France, and a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires.
Currently, Ivana is a tenured researcher at Argentina’s National Research Council (CONICET) based at the Institute of Latin American Studies (IEALC-University of Buenos Aires). She also teaches urban sociology and urban studies and has been a visiting scholar in Brazil, France, Belgium, and Sweden. Her research focuses on how financialization is reshaping the roles of various actors in the production of urban spaces in Argentina and across Latin America.
