The Urban Studies Foundation is a Scottish charitable organisation founded in 2008. Our aims and objectives include advancing academic research and education in the field of urban studies. We realise these outcomes primarily through the provision of grant funding for individuals and institutions engaged in groundbreaking urban research and knowledge mobilisation around the world. Below you can find out more about our aims, operations, awardees, and history.
"I can’t emphasise enough how supportive the USF Fellowship has been. It has empowered me to engage with a diverse range of partners, collaborators and agencies in a fast-moving field of practice and policy-making. It has allowed me to extend beyond known geographic and disciplinary borders to explore and connect disparate fields and practices, across policy and academia."
